Armstrong Timber Engineering was founded by Alan Armstrong in April 1996, initially supplying roof trusses and Posi-Joists to the construction industry. With a strong focus on precision engineering, reliability and customer service, the company quickly earned a reputation for delivering high-quality timber solutions.
In 2002, recognising the growing demand for timber construction in Ireland, Alan took the forward-thinking step of expanding the company’s production capabilities to include timber-frame homes. This development strengthened Armstrong Timber Engineering’s offering, enabling the company to provide builders, developers and self-builders with a comprehensive range of efficient, precision-manufactured structural products.
This early investment in timber-frame manufacturing positioned the company to support the continued growth of this construction method throughout Ireland.
